This is a highly sought-after LATTICE & GRAPE tankard pitcher and four (4) tumblers in BLUE carnival glass made by the famous Fenton Art Glass Co., circa 1912. A great photo of a pitcher in this same color and pattern is shown on p. 39 of Heacock (1978). The Tumblers (4): The four tumblers are likewise in very good/excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, restorations. One of the tumblers has a little manufacturer's crease mark (but this is from manufacturing, please see photo just below). The Iridesence on Pitcher and Tumbers: The iridescence on the pitcher and tumblers is OUTSTANDING with a Rainbow of colors, Radium-like... lots of different colors whenever the lighting changes (see the many photos below taken in various outdoor and indoor lighting situations). The high points on the pieces show no iridescence wear or rub. |
