This is a dazzling, old (~ 1904) Victorian-style, blue opalsecent glass pitcher and five (5) tumblers set in the Swag with Brackets pattern, made by the Jefferson Glass Co., of Steubenville, Ohio.  (Jefferson Glass sold its factory to Northwood and moved on to Canada in 1912 and, sadly, went out of business entirely about 1932 during the Great Depression.)

Each piece stands on an amazing set of four articulated feet, which helps explain why this is a very difficult set to find intact (the feet are often easily broken off).

Moreover, this is an especially difficult set to fine in blue opalescence.

Condition. 
    Pitcher:  The pitcher is in excellent condition!  No chips, chiggers, or flea bites.  Even the points of the four base feet are free of nicks and chips.
    Tumblers:  The tumblers are in very good condition except that each tumbler has some roughness and minor chip flaking on at least one of its four feet -- which is usually the norm for these pieces.  Otherwise, the tumblers are virtually excellent, with no rim chiggers, chips, or hair lines.  A handsome set and a very difficult set of tumblers to find in any condition.
