This is a charming mini-plate or pin dish by the famous Moorcroft Pottery, Burslem, England. 

The center of the plate features the columbine flower designed by Walter Moorcroft.  He first designed the columbine in the 1940s but it was not produced by Moorcroft pottery in significant numbers until about 1980 (p. 137 of Moorcroft, Revised Edition 1897-1993 by Paul Atterbury.)

The plate's floral coloring goes from  delicate yellows, reds and lavenders to deep purple and light green, all on ivory white background.  The bottom of the dish is impress-marked "Moorcroft Made in England," although the impression blends in so well with the ivory ground that I cannot get a decent photo of the impression.  But I assure you, the Moorcroft impression is there.

The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restorations. It measures about 11.4 cm (4.5 inches) in diameter.
