This is a wonderful nice iridized marigold CORNING PYREX 63 (CD 234) carnival glass, saddle top dome insulator made by Corning Glass Works of Corning, New York.  The external raised lettering around the base reads: "PYREX T.M. REG. U.S. PAT OFF. MADE IN U.S.A.  63" (with an "N" above the "U") 

Excellent condition, unmarred, with no chips, cracks, or repairs.  The iridescence with a brilliant radium-like sheen is the original factory (Corning Glass Works) dark rich application with no signs of blemish or wear.  The base is flat and smooth with no flea bites or chips (no drip points).

A really nice find, especially in such great condition.
