This is a really nice iridized marigold CORNING PYREX 662 (CD 235) carnival glass, saddle top dome insulator made by Corning Glass Works of Corning, New York.  The external raised lettering around the base reads: "CORNING PYREX" (with a dot below the "E"), "T. M. REG. U. S. PAT OFF. MADE IN U. S. A.   662" 

Very good condition, unmarred, with no chips, cracks, or repairs; only a couple of very small, minor flea bites on the inner-side base.  The iridescence is the original factory (Corning Glass Works) dark rich application with no signs of blemish or wear.  The base is flat and smooth (no drip points).

A really nice find, especially in such good condition.
